On April 25 the Pozoblanco bus station at 8:30 in the morning, we met about 50 walkers to catch the bus that would take us to Peñalsordo, a day with clear skies and a temperature characteristic of spring. We started the route
Peñalsordo, crossing the village in a southerly direction to go to the Sierra de Palenque, where we find ourselves with the best views and trails of this route. The journey begins on the old road of Belalcazar of which went out to a distance of 2.7 km. Following on from this point we began to climb towards the Sierra de Palenque, where farm walk saw us welcome you to get into some fantastic trails and oak jara. Brooms and flowers of this place saved in its amalgam of smells and sights of an immense number of species of animals such as vultures, finches, black storks, and an extensive list of animals.

After climbing past this area, we began the descent of the mountain for a few very good tracks that penetrate through countless olive farms and annexed to wonderful centenarian oaks.

Once these lush landscapes we started the climb towards Chapel, with the image of its medieval castle arrival. After crossing the town and visit the Castle, our continuous path by a very winding path with lots of flowers and trees on our right to have spectacular views of the swamp of Serena, and at the end of this path we reached the town of Peñalsordo being finalized our route.
